March 21, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 3:45 pm

Date/Time
March 21, 2018
8:30 a.m.

Description
Data cuts across all facets of society and has become the life-blood that runs all things human and business. At the same time, we are being exposed to an unprecedented variety of risks enabled by these data trails that can undermine and create havoc from individual families to business communities to entire nations at large. Wayne State University has become a leader within Southeast Michigan in answering challenging data related questions. As the first of six symposia featuring topics that reflect Wayne State’s legacy of excellence in academics and research, “Data Explosion” provides a venue for diverse discussions about ways to harness and benefit from this immersion of data.
