Biographical Info

The membership of the Section consists of all members of the American Water Works Association affiliated with the Michigan Section, AWWA, currently about 1,750 strong. Key membership sectors includes water works personnel, consultants, regulators and vendors and manufacturers. Mission Statement: The mission of the Michigan Section, AWWA is to enhance the knowledge, skills and technology necessary for public water suppliers to produce a safe, adequate, and reliable supply of drinking water, to promote laws and regulations which protect public health and to promote public confidence in their product.
