The purpose of the Mechanical Inspectors Association of Michigan shall be the advancement of principles and practice to promote safety to life and property in connection with the installation and service of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and automatic sprinkler and fire suppression systems, and shall include instruction on matters pertaining to the welfare and safety of the general public.
