Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Online Review Courses
For Electrical and Mechanical

ESD offers FE Review Courses in two disciplines to prepare you for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (A FE/PE Civil Fast Track Review Course is available, click here for more information):
- FE Electrical & Computer – This review course will prepare you for the Fundamentals of Engineering Electrical & Computer Exam. The course will cover Electrical Communications, Electric Circuits, Computer Networks, Digital Systems, Signals & Systems, Control Systems, Electrical Materials, Electromagnetic Fields, Electronics, Power & Rotating Machines, Engineering Economics, and Ethics, and Mathematics Review.
- FE Mechanical – This review course will prepare you for the Fundamentals of Engineering Mechanical Exam. The course will cover Probability and Statistics, Computational Tools, Ethics, Engineering Economics, Electric Circuits, Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Machine Design, HVAC, Vibrations, and Mathematics Review.
ESD’s FE Review Courses start off with 16 hours of math review. Our instructors will take you from Analytical Geometry and Algebra/Trigonometry, through Vectors and Matrices, Calculus and Differential Equations and Probability and Statistics. All core competencies are required for both the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and the Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam.

Textbooks & Course Materials
You will receive course packs for each subject from ESD, once you register for a course.
You may download your Reference Manuals for FREE from the National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors at NCEES.org, who is the Registrar for both the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam. You must create a free NCEES.org account to access these materials through the MyNCEES dashboard. Exam specifications for each discipline are also available for download and review.
Course Drop/Cancellation Policy
You must contact ESD at least 72 hours before the course starts to get a full refund. After the course starts, you may receive a 75% refund prior to the start of the second class, and no refunds will be given after the start of the second class.
